Hey Theodore, need some help. I'm in my late 20's living on the coast of NC and it's humid and windy all the time, so i use hairspray daily but have since stopped after noticing some hair thinning. It's diffuse thinning across my scalp but mostly where i apply my spray is on my hairline and bangs, which also has some thinning. It's very hard to determine if this is the cause of my hairloss because i'm not shedding hair from male pattern baldness as the most hair i'll loose in an entire day is maybe like 5, but i'm also using minoxidil so maybe it's just working extremely well. Btw i noticed my thinning hair about a year ago but it has since gotten a bit better thankfully. I was also taking a medication known as propranolol the same year i noticed hairloss and it's known to cause telogen effluvium which is temporary hairloss that can take hair 3 months to a year to fully recover. So far iv'e been off of that medication for 3 months. I was taking 20mg daily for anxiety and some people take up to 90 i think for blood pressure control. I'm hoping my hairloss can be linked to this medication as i would hate to be going through pattern baldness. Just started taking topical finasteride for about 25 days now too and if it starts to work then i guess i'll know what my problem truly is. No major results yet. Just thought i'd share that but anyways, do you think it's possible for hair follicles to be damaged from daily use of hairspray? I agree with what you said about it not being able to block hair from growing because that's just bs misinformation. People say your hair needs oxygen to "breathe" which is true, but blocking a follicle wouldn't matter because your hair gets oxygen from blood. What does concern me tho is maybe some harsh chemicals seeping into the follicle and possibly dealing some damage to the root or maybe the glue like effect could have something to do with it. Do you believe this could be possible or is this just more misinformation? I really have to take everything and i mean EVERYTHING i hear with a heavy grain of salt because god.. the internet.

I'd appreciate more info re: getting candle wax out of those containers, please?
